The 32nd preparatory meeting of the Committee of Undersecretaries of Agriculture Ministries in GCC countries, chaired by the State of Qatar, focused on enhancing cooperation in agriculture, livestock, and fisheries. Eng. Fahad Mohammed Al Qahtani, Assistant Undersecretary for Agriculture and Food Security Affairs at the Ministry of Municipality, spoke about the challenges posed by climate change, increasing food demand, and economic fluctuations. He stressed the importance of finding innovative and sustainable solutions to enhance food security in the GCC countries. The meeting was attended by undersecretaries of agriculture ministries in the GCC countries and H E Khalid bin Ali Al Sunaidi, Assistant Secretary-General for Economic and Development Affairs of the GCC General Secretariat.

Eng. Fahad Mohammed Al Qahtani emphasized the need to adopt effective strategies in the field of agriculture and food production to overcome global challenges.
