Ghanim Al Sulaiti, a 32-year-old entrepreneur from Doha, Qatar, has achieved remarkable success with nine businesses in just seven years. Despite his entrepreneurial success, Al Sulaiti decided to pursue an Executive MBA at HEC Paris in Qatar, a Qatar Foundation partner university, to enhance his business skills. He realized that while intuition had guided him thus far, he needed a solid foundation in business studies to progress further. His time at HEC Paris in Qatar has been a game changer for him, allowing him to identify weaknesses in his businesses and make data-driven decisions.

Al Sulaiti found that his entrepreneurial experience gave him a unique perspective on business, but he needed to be more methodological, theoretical, and analytical. His studies at HEC Paris in Qatar helped him learn how to properly read and analyze financial statements and change the way he runs his businesses. He acknowledges that he benefited greatly from the degree, gaining valuable insights that have helped him improve his businesses. Additionally, being part of Qatar Foundation has provided him with a strong support system and a valuable network of entrepreneurs and academics.

Despite the challenges and investments required to pursue his Executive MBA, Al Sulaiti believes that the value he gained from his time at HEC Paris was worth the time and money spent. He is grateful for the opportunity to connect with like-minded entrepreneurs and receive guidance and support from professors and academics. His commitment to continuous learning and improvement has been a key factor in his success as a business owner.

Al Sulaiti’s success can be attributed to his ability to identify market gaps and take calculated risks. He launched his first business, Evergreen Organics, ten years ago and has since expanded to own nine sustainability-focused businesses. By filling market needs and not being afraid to be the first to enter a new market, Al Sulaiti has been able to quickly grow his business empire. His ultimate goal is to make Qatar the most vegan-friendly city in the world, focusing on strengthening his existing businesses and creating a sustainable supply chain.

Looking towards the future, Al Sulaiti plans to continue focusing on his existing businesses and working towards his goal of making Qatar a leader in vegan-friendly initiatives. His innovative approach to business and commitment to sustainability have set him apart in the entrepreneurial landscape. As a member of Qatar Foundation’s Class of 2024, Al Sulaiti will participate in the Convocation ceremony, marking another milestone in his academic and entrepreneurial journey.
