Qatar and Sweden discuss bilateral relations, Gaza

Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, H E Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater, recently met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sweden, H E Tobias Billstrom, in Stockholm to discuss bilateral relations and ways to support and enhance them. The two officials also delved into developments in the situation in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, as well as cooperation between their countries in providing aid to Afghanistan. Minister Billstrom expressed his country’s gratitude for Qatar’s ongoing efforts to reunite children and families separated by the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. The meeting was also attended by Ambassador of Qatar to Sweden, H E Nadya bint Ahmad Al Sheebi.
