Prime Minister Meets with High-Ranking Syrian Delegation

In a meeting held in Doha, Qatar, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani, received a high-level Syrian delegation. The delegation included H E Asaad al-Shaybani, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the new Syrian administration, H E Murhaf Abu Qasra, Minister of Defense, and H E Anas Khattab, Head of Intelligence Service. The purpose of the meeting was to review bilateral cooperation relations between Qatar and Syria and to discuss ways to support and develop them.

The discussions during the meeting also touched upon the latest developments in Syria and the enhancement of Qatari humanitarian aid to assist the people of Syria.
