Omani scholar praises partnerships with Qatari institutions

Oman and Qatar are strengthening their research collaborations, with Dr. Sulaiman Al Sabei from Sultan Qaboos University expressing the potential for increased academic and literary partnerships. Oman was the guest of honour at the recent Doha International Book Fair, where Dr. Al Sabei highlighted the numerous books on Oman’s history by non-Omanis, creating opportunities for international partnerships. This collaboration involves joint initiatives and the co-funding programme, supporting researchers from both countries to work on projects resulting in scientific publications and books displayed at exhibitions.

Furthermore, Oman and Qatar have been organizing seminars and workshops to enhance academic exchange, including a conference on research and management in Muscat last year.
