The National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) in Doha, Qatar, recently hosted an introductory meeting with partners of the National Digital Safety Initiative to streamline efforts and distribute roles and responsibilities to enhance awareness of cybersecurity and digital safety concepts among various segments of society. The event was attended by distinguished officials, experts from the NCSA, and representatives from partner organizations. The attendees were provided with insightful presentations on the initiative’s objectives and operational framework, as well as the pivotal role it plays in supporting Qatar’s National Vision 2030.

Dalal Al Aqeedi, Director of the National Cyber Excellence Department at the NCSA, emphasized the significance of the introductory meeting as the actual launch of the National Digital Safety Initiative. She highlighted the strategic importance of the initiative as a national project that brings together various organizations to positively impact the initiative’s outcomes.
