Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs at the MoEHE, Maha Zaid Al Rawli, expressed how these programs play a crucial role in fostering a love for reading among children and youth. Al Rawli further highlighted how these programs and activities are instrumental in strengthening the level of reading, cultural awareness, and literary consciousness in society, which ultimately has a positive impact on future generations.
The Ministry has taken proactive steps to activate learning resource centers in the seven summer centers located in public schools. These centers offer various reading programs for students to utilize their free time in activities that stimulate thought and creativity. The Ministry has urged all schools and parents to encourage students to participate in these programs actively to benefit from the opportunities they provide.
