The back-to-school campaign for the academic year 2024-2025, organized by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and Mowasalat (Karwa), recently concluded at Doha Festival City. The campaign, which took place from August 25 to 31, saw the participation of various government entities including the General Directorate of Traffic, the Ministry of Municipality, and the Ministry of Transportation. Its main goal was to provide students and parents with educational and recreational activities to help them prepare for the upcoming school year.

The pavilion at the festival featured a range of activities aimed at promoting safety and academic readiness. Participants had the opportunity to engage in educational games focused on bus driving and traffic safety guidelines. Additionally, there were awareness lectures on commuting safety, school bus etiquette, traffic laws, and road controls. Children could also take part in workshops on recycling, hygiene, drawing, painting, storytelling, puppet theatre, mental games, and sports shows. These activities were not only educational but also fun and engaging for participants.

The back-to-school campaign garnered a significant turnout of visitors, with over 4,000 souvenir gifts distributed to children who took part in the events. The Ministry of Education and Higher Education and Mowasalat (Karwa) expressed their gratitude to the partners and supporters of the campaign, whose efforts were instrumental in its success. The collaborative effort of all involved parties contributed to achieving the campaign’s objectives and ensuring a positive start to the academic year for students.

The ‘My School is My Second Home’ campaign aimed to strengthen communication and cooperation among all stakeholders in the educational process. By fostering a sense of enthusiasm and positivity among students, the campaign sought to prepare them for a successful and productive school year. Through a combination of educational activities, safety awareness sessions, and interactive workshops, participants were equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the challenges of the upcoming academic year.

The campaign also emphasized the importance of regular school attendance and adherence to academic policies. By promoting a culture of responsibility and preparedness, students were encouraged to actively participate in classroom activities and engage with their school community. The various activities offered at the pavilion provided a holistic approach to back-to-school preparation, addressing both academic and safety aspects to ensure a smooth transition into the new school year.

Overall, the back-to-school campaign organized by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and Mowasalat (Karwa) was a success in engaging students and parents in a range of educational activities. By promoting safety, academic readiness, and a spirit of enthusiasm among participants, the campaign played a vital role in preparing students for the challenges of the new academic year. Through collaborative efforts with various government entities and the support of partners and sponsors, the campaign successfully achieved its goals and contributed to a positive start to the school year for all involved.
