Minister of Religious Endowments evaluates Hajj preparations, meets with tour operators

The Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Head of the Qatari Hajj Mission, H E Ghanem bin Shaheen Al Ghanim, recently met with 19 Hajj tour operators in Makkah Al Mukarramah. The meeting aimed at coordinating efforts and exchanging views on the upcoming Hajj season. Qatar’s pilgrims were set to head to the Mina camps to spend the day of Tarwiyah and prepare for their departure to Arafat. The Minister listened to the opinions and requirements of the tour operators to ensure the best services and facilities are provided to Qatar’s pilgrims during their pilgrimage. Qatar is dedicated to making the Hajj season successful and is working tirelessly to serve the pilgrims in the holy sites.

During the meeting, Minister Ghanim emphasized the importance of serving the pilgrims and facilitating their affairs during the Hajj season. He highlighted the efforts being made by the mission, advisory committee, and support units to provide all necessary support and cooperation to the pilgrims. The Minister commended the authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for their efforts in serving the pilgrims and acknowledged the cooperation of the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umra and Ithra Al Khair Company for pilgrim services. Minister Ghanim urged the campaigners to maintain close communication with the mission’s leadership and present constructive ideas to enhance the services provided to Qatar’s pilgrims.

The campaigners, in turn, expressed their appreciation for the efforts of the Hajj and Umrah Affairs Department and its cooperation throughout the registration process for the Hajj season. They praised the Qatari Hajj mission for its preparation of camps in Arafa and Mina, which meet the highest standards and specifications. The addition of services and facilities in the camps has made the pilgrimage experience safer and more comfortable for the pilgrims. The campaigners praised the mission for their dedication to providing excellent services to Qatar’s pilgrims during their sacred journey.

Overall, the meeting between the Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and the Hajj tour operators aimed at ensuring the success of the upcoming Hajj season for Qatar’s pilgrims. The Minister stressed the importance of serving the pilgrims and working together to overcome any challenges that may arise during the pilgrimage. The efforts of the mission, advisory committee, and support units are focused on providing the best services and facilities to the pilgrims in the holy sites of Mina, Arafat, and Muzdalifah.
