The Workers’ Support and Insurance Fund Management Board in Doha, Qatar recently held their second meeting for the year 2024. Chaired by Minister of Labour H E Dr. Ali bin Samikh Al Marri, the meeting discussed various agenda items and cases referred to the fund. Several decisions and recommendations were adopted during the meeting to improve the fund’s performance and effectiveness, with the goal of enhancing the working environment for workers. Established under Law No. (17) of 2018, the Workers’ Support and Insurance Fund aims to support, insure, and care for workers, ensuring their rights and providing a healthy and safe working environment.
