The Government Communications Office (GCO) in Doha, Qatar, recently hosted a course in collaboration with TikTok titled Strategies for Creative Content for communications professionals from various government and semi-government entities across the State of Qatar. The course, which took place from September 29th to October 2nd, aimed to enhance local media capabilities by exploring the latest digital technologies. This initiative is part of the State’s broader efforts to promote the adoption of cutting-edge technologies and equip government employees with essential digital skills. It highlights Qatar’s proactive approach to digital transformation and its dedication to building a technologically advanced workforce in line with the Third National Development Strategy 2024-2030. Sheikh Jassim bin Mansour bin Jabor Al-Thani, the Director of GCO, emphasized the importance of building local capabilities and equipping professionals with effective public communication skills to showcase the country’s achievements across all sectors.
