The meeting aimed to discuss various crucial issues, including the declaration of a World Day for Endowments and the establishment of a Gulf scientific observatory to showcase the true image of Islamic tolerance.

During the opening session, Minister Al Ghanim highlighted the importance of such meetings in strengthening joint cooperation and promoting collective action within the GCC. He emphasized the significance of constructive and fruitful cooperation in religious affairs, showcasing the sincere efforts and authentic roles of the Ministries of Islamic and Religious Affairs in the region. Additionally, the Minister stressed the need to combat campaigns of hatred and fanaticism, while adapting to contemporary changes globally.

Moreover, the Minister outlined the objectives of the GCC meetings at all levels, which include increasing coordination and cooperation in various specializations such as endowments, mosques, advocacy, research, and more. He emphasized the importance of finding theoretical and practical scientific solutions to address relevant incidents and developments in the region, including protecting historical sites, caring for the environment, and supporting those with disabilities.

Addressing pressing issues affecting the Muslim community, Minister Al Ghanim highlighted the ongoing crisis in occupied Palestine, particularly in the city of Jerusalem and the Al Aqsa Mosque. He emphasized the right of all Muslims to access and pray in these holy sites, denouncing repeated attacks aimed at disrupting the peace and wellbeing of the Palestinian people. Additionally, the Minister addressed the crisis in the Gaza Strip, stressing the need for advocacy and action to alleviate the suffering caused by brutal aggression.

Furthermore, GCC Secretary General H E Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi commended the achievements of the committee since its establishment, emphasizing the importance of enhancing integration, cooperation, and the exchange of expertise in the field of Islamic affairs and endowments among GCC countries. The meetings have played a critical role in fostering collaboration and solidarity within the region, contributing to the advancement of common goals and initiatives.

In conclusion, the 10th meeting of Their Excellencies and Highnesses the Ministers of Islamic Affairs and Endowments of GCC countries in Doha, Qatar, served as a platform for discussing key issues, promoting cooperation, and showcasing the true values of Islamic tolerance. With ongoing efforts to combat extremism, promote peace, and protect religious freedoms, the region continues to strive for unity and progress in the field of Islamic affairs and endowments.
