The Center for Empowerment and Care of the Elderly (Ehsan) in Doha, Qatar has recently restarted its day care clubs as part of its efforts to improve the lives of elderly individuals and enhance their social interaction. The clubs offer a range of social and educational programs, events, crafts and manual skills workshops, and field visits. These activities aim to address the psychological, social, and health needs of the elderly, and are designed by an expert team from Ehsan.
Sheikha Ahmed Al Hareeb, the Acting Director of Ehsan’s Awareness and Community Communication Department, mentioned that the day care clubs were launched at the start of the academic year 2024/2025 and will take place across Ehsan’s four branches.
