The Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Doha has recently launched a student support programme, aimed at assisting students with scholarship procedures until the end of August. Noora Mohammed Al Ansari, the Director of the Scholarships Department, stated that the programme’s goal is to help students familiarize themselves with the scholarship application process and resolve any issues they may encounter. The department has received 2200 scholarship applications from students interested in domestic and international scholarships for the academic year 2024/2025.
It is emphasized that student attendance at interviews is essential to complete the scholarship procedures successfully. This is to ensure that scholarship students are connected with potential employers they may work with in the future after completing their university studies. There are dedicated committees available daily throughout the registration period to support students and assist them with registration procedures, application services, document uploads, and scholarship-related inquiries.
Samia Nasser Al Ansari, External Scholarship Officer at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, noted the significant interest from students and parents in the public service provided by the Scholarship Department. On a daily basis, between 70 to 75 students and parents benefit from the services offered. The department has been effective in addressing inquiries about university registration procedures, primary election, and scholarship conditions, offering technical support to resolve any electronic issues encountered during the registration process.
The government scholarship program aims to apply new visions to simplify student application processes and ensure a seamless experience for applicants. The focus is on facilitating the connection between scholarship students and potential future employers, making it essential for students to attend interviews. The support provided by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education through dedicated committees and public services aims to streamline the application process and address any concerns or queries students may have.
By ensuring that students are well-informed about scholarship procedures and requirements, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education is committed to helping students navigate the application process with ease. The availability of daily support services and technical assistance ensures that students and parents have access to the necessary resources to complete their applications successfully. This proactive approach by the Scholarship Department reflects a commitment to assisting students in achieving their academic and career goals through government scholarships.
