The Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, H E Lieutenant General (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabet, recently attended the 32nd International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO 2024) in Kielce, Poland. This event is a significant gathering of more than 600 international companies specializing in defence and security from over 38 countries. It serves as a platform for companies to showcase their latest products and technologies in the field of defence.

During his time at the exhibition, Lieutenant General Al Nabet met with Deputy Minister of Defence of Poland, Pawel Bejda, to discuss various topics of common interest. They also explored ways to enhance and develop military cooperation relations between Qatar and Poland. In attendance were H E Saud bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Poland, as well as other senior officers from the Qatari Armed Forces.

The MSPO exhibition is considered one of the most important defence events in Europe, offering a unique opportunity for companies to network with key players in the industry. With a focus on innovation and the latest advancements in defence technology, the event provides a platform for companies to showcase their capabilities and compete in the global market.

Lieutenant General Al Nabet’s participation in the MSPO exhibition demonstrates Qatar’s commitment to developing its defence capabilities and exploring opportunities for collaboration with international partners. By engaging with key stakeholders in the industry, Qatar aims to enhance its military capabilities and strengthen its position on the global stage.

During his visit to Poland, Lieutenant General Al Nabet also had the opportunity to meet with other international stakeholders, further highlighting Qatar’s commitment to fostering relations with key players in the defence industry. Through these meetings and discussions, Qatar seeks to explore avenues for collaboration and exchange knowledge and expertise with other countries.
