The Aster DMH Hospital in Doha, Qatar recently presented the Chaliyar Cup all India sevens football Grand Finale. The tournament was organized by Chaliyar Doha and the final took place at the Hamilton International School ground. Two teams, FIFA Manjeri and Orbit FC, faced off in the final after defeating Hilal FC and Stable Phone Malabar FC in the semi-finals.
The champions of the tournament were awarded a QR3,501 cash prize, winners’ trophy, and rolling trophy sponsored by Marine Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Company. The runners-up received a QR2,501 cash prize, runners’ trophy sponsored by Gallop Shipping and Logistics.
