The Qatar University (QU) is gearing up to celebrate the graduation ceremony for its 47th batch of students under the patronage of Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on May 8. The ceremony will honor graduates from various academic degrees including bachelor’s, diploma, master’s, doctorate, and doctor of pharmacy for the semesters Summer 2023, Fall 2023, Winter 2024, and those expected to graduate by the end of Spring 2024. This year, a total of 3,738 graduates will be honored, out of which 2,373 are Qatari nationals. Among them, there are 608 distinguished graduates, including 129 males and 479 females.
The distinguished male graduates will be honored by H H the Amir during the graduation ceremony, while the distinguished female graduates will be honored by Consort of H H the Amir, H H Sheikha Jawaher bint Hamad bin Suhaim Al Thani at a separate ceremony on May 9. Dr. Eiman Mustafawi, QU Vice-President for Student Affairs, expressed QU’s commitment to nurturing a new generation of learners ready to contribute to society.
