Amir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, recently met with President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola in Brussels. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral relations between Qatar and the European Parliament, as well as discussing regional and international developments including the situations in the Gaza Strip, the occupied Palestinian territories, and Lebanon. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the First Summit of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf and the European Union.

Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani was also present at the meeting, along with other members of the official delegation accompanying the Amir.
