In a recent visit to Rome, Italy, the Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Prime Minister of the Italian Republic HE Giorgia Meloni held an official session of talks at Villa Doria Pamphili Palace. The Italian Prime Minister welcomed the Amir and his delegation, expressing hope that the visit would strengthen and develop relations between the two countries in various fields. In return, the Amir thanked the Prime Minister for the warm reception and expressed his aspiration to enhance the strong relations between Qatar and Italy.

The session focused on discussing the prospects of bilateral cooperation between Qatar and Italy, particularly in the areas of economy, investment, energy, and defense.
