Mohamed Boulabiar, a French traveler, recently completed an impressive journey by foot across 13 countries and over 8,000km, arriving in Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah. After embarking on this journey eight months ago, he finally reached his destination in Madinah on May 14, 2024. Despite facing various challenges, such as weather changes and a snowstorm at the Greek border, Boulabiar expressed his joy at reaching Saudi Arabia, his first visit to the Gulf region.

In an interview with the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Boulabiar shared his experiences along the way. He mentioned that while he did not encounter any major problems during his journey, the weather presented a constant challenge. Starting in summer and passing through spring, autumn, and winter in different parts of the world, Boulabiar’s determination and resilience were truly tested. However, he persevered and successfully completed his journey to Madinah.

Throughout his journey, Boulabiar documented his travel experiences on his social media platforms, including Instagram and Tiktok. He shared details of his route, which took him through 12 countries before reaching Saudi Arabia as the 13th country on his itinerary. Starting from France, he passed through Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, Albania, Macedonia, Greece, Turkiye, and Jordan before finally arriving in Saudi Arabia.

On his Instagram account, Boulabiar revealed that he had been preparing for this journey both physically and mentally for a year before setting off from Paris in the last week of August. His dedication and commitment to this adventure are reflected in his posts, where he shared glimpses of the landscapes, people, and cultures he encountered along the way. By sharing his journey on social media, Boulabiar inspired others to pursue their dreams and explore the world around them.

As Boulabiar reflected on his journey, he described it as a dream come true moment for him. Arriving in Madinah for the first time, he expressed his gratitude and happiness at reaching his destination after months of walking. His journey not only tested his physical endurance but also allowed him to immerse himself in different environments and connect with people from diverse backgrounds. By completing this incredible feat, Boulabiar proved that with determination and perseverance, anything is possible.

In conclusion, Mohamed Boulabiar’s extraordinary journey on foot through 13 countries and over 8,000km serves as a testament to the human spirit and the power of determination. Despite facing challenges along the way, he remained steadfast in his goal and successfully completed his journey to Saudi Arabia.
