Muscat: The winner of the prestigious Sultan Qaboos Sailing Award will be announced in the Republic of France on Saturday, November 18, 2023.
The Ministry of Defence said: “The Royal Navy of Oman, in cooperation with the International Sailing Association, will announces tomorrow (Saturday) the winner of the Sultan Qaboos Sailing Award in the city of Dunkirk in the Republic of France.”
The Sultan Qaboos Sailing Award is one of the most prestigious awards in the field of sailing, and it includes an annual grant allocated to train one hundred people from different countries of the world in the sport of sailing.
The prize is awarded to the organisation or ship that makes distinguished efforts in serving the field after a secret ballot for the International Conference on Sailing Ships and training on sailing.
