The Wilayat of Sur in Oman experienced the highest amount of rainfall in the country on October 14 and 15, 2024, with 33 mm recorded. This information was provided by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources (MAFWR). Sur, located in the South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, was followed by Jalan Bani Bu Ali with 26 mm of rainfall during the same period. Al Jazir in the Al Wusta Governorate received 4 mm, while Haima, also in Al Wusta Governorate, recorded 3 mm of rainfall.
