The Ministry of Labour recently participated in the 27th meeting of the Committee of Undersecretaries of Civil Service and Administrative Development Agencies in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. This event took place in Doha, as a prelude to the upcoming 20th meeting of the Committee of Civil Service Ministers scheduled for September 3, 2024. Sayyid Salim bin Muslim Al Busaidi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labour for Human Resources Development, represented the Ministry at the meeting. The event was attended by Khalid bin Ali Al Sunaidi, Assistant Secretary-General for Economic and Development Affairs at the General Secretariat of the Cooperation Council, as well as other Undersecretaries of Civil Service and Administrative Development Agencies from the GCC countries.

Discussions included the GCC strategy in the field of civil service and human resources development for the years 2021-2025.
