The King’s Majesty holds meeting with King of Jordan at Nadwa Palace

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan recently met in Amman to discuss the strong relations between their two countries and ways to further enhance them for the benefit of their people. The meeting, which took place at His Majesty’s residency in Nadwa Palace, was also attended by important figures from both Oman and Jordan. On the Omani side, attendees included HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, and Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, among others. From the Jordanian side, Prince Faisal bin Al Hussein and Yousef Issawi, Chief of the Royal Court, were among those present.

The meeting between Sultan Haitham and King Abdullah focused on discussing ways to strengthen the existing ties between Oman and Jordan, with a particular emphasis on cooperation and collaboration in various areas. Both leaders expressed their commitment to exploring new avenues for partnership that would benefit the citizens of their respective countries. The discussions were characterized by cordiality and a shared desire to promote mutual understanding and friendship between Oman and Jordan.
