Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) Council met for its 4th meeting of the academic year 2023/2024, chaired by Dr. Rahma Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation. The council discussed the work process at SQU and the implementation of previous decisions and recommendations. Several matters were approved, including the introduction of a Bachelor’s Degree in Artificial Intelligence (AI) at the College of Science. Additionally, the council agreed to restructure the Bachelor’s Degree in Translation at the College of Arts and Social Sciences, showcasing the commitment to innovation and development at SQU.
