In Muscat, an expatriate has been arrested for possession of drugs and more than 2,700 psychotropic tablets. The Royal Oman Police stated that the Anti-Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Department, led by the North Al Batinah Police, made the arrest. The Asian resident was found in possession of crystal meth, morphine, hashish, and a large quantity of psychotropic tablets. Legal procedures are currently being carried out against the individual by law enforcement authorities.
