The participation of industry stakeholders such as the International Air Transport Association and the Federal Aviation Administration highlights the importance of multilateral cooperation in addressing the challenges facing the aviation sector.

The meeting will provide an opportunity for participants to share their experiences and insights on best practices in air traffic monitoring and control, with a view to enhancing safety and efficiency in the Middle East region. By fostering dialogue and collaboration among key stakeholders, the meeting aims to facilitate the implementation of innovative solutions and technologies to address the evolving challenges in air traffic management. The outcomes of the meeting are expected to contribute to the development of a unified approach to air navigation in the Middle East, with a focus on enhancing safety and operational efficiency in the region.

Overall, the 20th meeting of the Board of Directors of the Regional Air Traffic Monitoring Agency (RATMA) for the Middle East in Muscat represents a significant step towards enhancing cooperation and collaboration in air traffic monitoring and control in the region.
