The Council of Oman is currently participating in the 149th Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) General Assembly meetings being held in Geneva from 13 to 17 October 2024. Oman’s delegation is being led by Khalid Hilal Al Maawali, Chairman of the Shura Council. The meetings will focus on the role of parliaments in addressing various regional and international issues and making important decisions.
