Meeting discusses strategies for improving skill development

The Muttrah Wali Office recently organized a lecture on ‘Decision Making Skills’ to enhance administrative efficiency and improve employees’ skills. The lecture, presented by Dr. Hamad bin Hamoud Al Ghafri, focused on the concept of decision-making and the importance of making the right decisions to achieve desired outcomes. Dr. Al Ghafri discussed the seven steps for ideal decision-making and how to apply these steps to reach the best solutions. A highlight of the lecture was the Weighted Decision-Making Criteria Matrix, which helps evaluate different choices objectively. Attendees engaged in discussions on improving decision-making skills in various fields, highlighting the importance of continuous learning to enhance performance and administrative work efficiency.

The lecture, which was attended by the Wali of Muttrah, Dr. Hamad Al Mamari, along with several governorate employees and Muttrah residents, emphasized the importance of enhancing awareness and administrative abilities. The Muttrah Wali Office has been organizing initiatives and lectures aimed at empowering human resources to make effective decisions that contribute to the development of Oman. Through interactive sessions and discussions during the lecture, attendees exchanged views on ways to improve decision-making skills and enhance performance in their respective fields. By providing valuable insights and tools for decision-making, the lecture aimed to equip employees with the necessary skills to make informed decisions that positively impact organizational growth and development.

Dr. Al Ghafri’s presentation on the seven steps for ideal decision-making and the Weighted Decision-Making Criteria Matrix offered practical guidance on evaluating choices objectively. The lecture encouraged attendees to apply these tools in their decision-making process to achieve optimal results.
