In collaboration with the Municipality of Dhofar and other public, private, and civil sector institutions, the Environment Authority is implementing this tree planting campaign as part of its ongoing efforts to protect local plants and natural resources. The planting of 10,000 wild trees is just one component of a larger project aimed at increasing vegetation cover and supporting the national initiative to plant 10 million trees. By engaging various stakeholders in this initiative, the Environment Authority is fostering a culture of environmental awareness and stewardship in Dhofar Governorate.
