Founded during the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic, the platform has about 72 tourism companies offering approximately 131 diverse experiences and activities across various governorates in Oman.
Jassim bin Mohammed Al Alawi, the CEO of Darrbak, mentioned that the platform team tests new sites to ensure their suitability in terms of difficulty and safety before presenting them to the public. The platform has received recognition at the local level, winning the “Scale” award at the COMEX International Technology Exhibition. Supported by the Oman Technology Fund and the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority, the platform aims to expand internationally, having already signed cooperation agreements with Saudi and Kuwaiti companies.
