The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) has strongly condemned the Israeli occupation forces’ brutal bombardment of the Al Mawasi area in Khan Yunis, Gaza Strip. The Secretary-General of the GCC, Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, characterized this attack as part of a pattern of systematic and ongoing crimes committed by Israel against the Palestinian people. He emphasized that the Israeli forces show no regard for principles, laws, or treaties, whether legal, humanitarian, or moral.

Albudaiwi called on the international community to take immediate action to stop the Israeli aggression and hold those responsible for these atrocities accountable. He noted the GCC’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause, viewing it as the central issue for Arabs and Muslims. The GCC stands behind the establishment of an independent Palestinian state within the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital, aligning with the Arab Peace Initiative and international legitimacy.

The Secretary-General highlighted the Israeli occupation forces’ continued arrogance and the grave impact of their crimes on innocent lives. He stressed the urgency of addressing these violations and ensuring justice for the victims. The GCC’s condemnation of Israeli aggression underscores the organization’s commitment to upholding international law and human rights standards in the face of such grave violations.

The GCC’s stance on the Palestinian cause reflects its solidarity with the Palestinian people and commitment to supporting their struggle for justice and self-determination. By reaffirming its support for an independent Palestinian state, the GCC sends a clear message to the international community about the urgency of resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and ending the cycle of violence and oppression in the region.

Albudaiwi’s statements serve as a call to action for the international community to intervene and hold Israel accountable for its violations of international law and human rights. The GCC’s condemnation of the Israeli occupation forces’ aggression underscores the organization’s commitment to justice and peace in the region, and its support for the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination and independence.

In conclusion, the GCC’s strong condemnation of Israeli aggression in Gaza reflects its unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and commitment to upholding human rights and international law. The organization’s call for immediate action to stop the violence and hold the perpetrators accountable highlights the urgency of addressing the grave humanitarian crisis in Gaza and ending the cycle of violence and oppression. The GCC’s solidarity with the Palestinian people sends a powerful message to the international community about the importance of resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and achieving a just and lasting peace in the region.
