The Labour Minister of Bahrain, Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, is dedicated to fulfilling the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa through the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Values of Nationalism (Bahrainouna). This initiative, supported by the leadership of HM the King and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, emphasizes Bahrain’s national identity and values to drive the Kingdom’s ongoing development. Humaidan expressed gratitude to H.E. Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa for his support in executing the Ministry’s national initiatives under Bahrainouna.

As part of Bahrainouna, the Ministry introduced The National Platform for Bahrain Experts (Khobara) to showcase the skills of 207 Bahraini professionals across various sectors. The platform aims to promote Bahraini talent regionally, with experts in finance, insurance, banking, information technology, healthcare, engineering, manufacturing, and real estate. A committee will evaluate these experts in November to further enhance Bahrain’s presence in the region. Humaidan believes that Khobara is a crucial step in supporting Bahraini expertise and highlighting the Kingdom’s wealth of talent and best practices.

The Ministry is also gearing up to launch the For You initiative in December, which will honor private-sector workers in high-risk roles for their contributions to Bahrain’s economy. This initiative recognizes the efforts and sacrifices of Bahrain’s dedicated workforce in demanding sectors. Humaidan emphasized the Ministry’s focus on enhancing worker safety by implementing best practices in challenging work environments to ensure the well-being of those facing high-risk conditions daily. These initiatives collectively reflect Bahrain’s commitment to its national values and celebrate the expertise and resilience of its people contributing to the Kingdom’s growth and prosperity.

Overall, the Ministry is dedicated to fulfilling His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s directives through the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Values of Nationalism (Bahrainouna). The Ministry’s initiatives under Bahrainouna, including the National Platform for Bahrain Experts (Khobara) and the For You initiative, aim to promote Bahraini talent regionally and honor private-sector workers in high-risk roles. These efforts underscore Bahrain’s commitment to its national values and celebrate the expertise and resilience of its workforce contributing to the Kingdom’s development and prosperity. The Ministry continues to work closely with stakeholders to support the growth and well-being of Bahraini professionals and ensure a safe and productive working environment for all.
