The development of roads in blocks 421 and 423 in Jidhafs, Bahrain, is currently underway, with the project reaching the halfway mark in its first phase. Engineer Ahmed AlTajir, Assistant Undersecretary for Roads at the Ministry of Works, shared that the project is part of ongoing efforts to enhance infrastructure in the country. The project aims to benefit 200 homes and properties by improving movement for residents and visitors, managing traffic flow, and increasing capacity. The work involves the removal of old asphalt, laying of backfill, and resurfacing with new asphalt, covering a total distance of 1.3 kilometres.

In addition to improving road quality, the project also includes the construction of a rainwater drainage network, the relocation of existing underground utilities, and the installation of new lighting poles in coordination with the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA). To enhance safety for road users, traffic safety measures will be implemented, including the installation of traffic signs and the painting of road lines. The project, valued at 457,825 Bahraini dinars, was awarded to JAHECON W.L.L. by the Tender Board.
