HRH Prince Salman promises to support livestock, agriculture, and marine resources sector

HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, reiterated the importance of the livestock, agriculture, and marine wealth sector during a meeting with the Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, Eng. Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak. He highlighted his commitment to supporting this sector through comprehensive plans and initiatives aimed at enhancing food security and achieving Bahrain’s wide-ranging goals. Prince Salman praised the efforts of Bahraini professionals in implementing development plans and programs that align with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

Prince Salman emphasized that Bahrain has a wealth of national competencies within Team Bahrain, which play a crucial role in supporting global development efforts and enhancing the Kingdom’s international reputation across various sectors. He commended Dr. Fajr Al Salloum, the Director of the Animal Health Directorate, on her election as Vice President of the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) Council, and wished her continued success in her new position.

Eng. Al Mubarak expressed his gratitude to HRH Prince Salman for his support of Bahraini professionals in the livestock and agricultural sectors, as well as for the projects and plans implemented by the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture. He reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to advancing the Kingdom’s development and prosperity. The meeting was also attended by His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and the Minister of Cabinet Affairs, H.E. Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki.
