Dr. Ibrahim Farouk Obaid, the head of the Medical Committee for the Kingdom of Bahrain’s Hajj Mission, recently reported that Bahrain’s medical clinic in Mecca has been busy receiving Bahraini pilgrims and administrators. He noted that all the cases seen at the clinic were mild and were handled according to established procedures based on the nature of each case. The majority of the cases involved pilgrims suffering from influenza, colds, headaches, joint pain, muscle aches, as well as visits for blood pressure and diabetes checks.

Dr. Obaid stressed Bahrain’s commitment to providing all necessary preventive measures to protect the health and safety of the pilgrims. He mentioned that the Medical Committee and its team are working tirelessly to serve the pilgrims, emphasizing the role of the committee in providing health awareness and guidance brochures to Bahraini pilgrims and clinic visitors. These efforts are aimed at educating them on the best ways to prevent and avoid contracting diseases while on the pilgrimage.

The Medical Committee in Mecca is dedicated to ensuring the well-being of Bahraini pilgrims and providing them with the necessary medical attention during their time in the holy city.
