The seventh edition of the Bahrain International Exhibition for Agricultural and Animal Production, Mara’ee 2024, is set to take place on November 27 at the Bahrain International Endurance Village in Zallaq. This year’s event will focus on promoting food security and strengthening the national economy, with participants including local farm owners, Bahraini breeders, and rare Arabian horses. Held under the esteemed patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Mara’ee 2024 showcases Bahrain’s commitment to sustainable agriculture and food self-reliance by bringing together agricultural experts and international exhibitors.

One of the highlights of Mara’ee 2024 will be the display of rare Arabian horses, showcasing Bahrain’s equestrian legacy and heritage. These horses, cultivated by Bahraini breeders over generations, will be a major draw for horse enthusiasts and breeders at the event. Alongside the horses, local farm owners will showcase their livestock and produce to highlight Bahrain’s agricultural advancements and contributions to regional food systems.

Mara’ee 2024 aims to not only showcase agricultural and equestrian displays but also boost Bahrain’s economy by creating opportunities for local agribusinesses. The event will include a marketplace for Bahraini agricultural products, providing a platform for farmers and entrepreneurs to network and promote their offerings. This initiative is seen as a catalyst for the local economy, opening doors for producers to expand their reach and strengthen the overall economic landscape in Bahrain.

While Mara’ee 2024 is a business-focused event, it also offers an inclusive experience for the public. Visitors will have access to educational exhibits, interactive workshops, and demonstrations of sustainable farming practices. Families are encouraged to attend, with the exhibition featuring hands-on activities to raise awareness about the importance of agriculture and animal husbandry for Bahrain’s future. The event aims to educate and engage the public in the kingdom’s journey towards a more sustainable and economically robust future.

Overall, Mara’ee 2024 promises to be more than just an exhibition, it is a symbol of Bahrain’s dedication to building a sustainable future through agriculture and animal production. With royal patronage and a focus on food security and economic diversification, the event serves as a platform to showcase Bahrain’s agricultural potential and contribute to the nation’s long-term goals. By bringing together industry professionals, local producers, and the public, Mara’ee 2024 aims to create a vibrant and thriving agricultural community in Bahrain that is well-equipped to meet the challenges of the future.
