Their journey from Bahrain International Airport was met with an overwhelming outpouring of national pride, as thousands of loyal fans, both Bahrainis and expats, lined the parade route to welcome their heroes home. The victorious team was received by His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who accepted the Gulf Cup trophy on behalf of the Kingdom, symbolizing the team’s resilience, skill, and unyielding spirit.

As the parade moved along the specified route, from Airport Road to Shaikh Isa bin Salman Bridge and onward to Crown Prince Street, the air was electric with cheers and chants. Families gathered to watch the celebration, with children excitedly cheering as the team passed by. The General Traffic Directorate ensured the safety of the crowds, emphasizing the importance of adhering to traffic rules.

The carefully planned parade route culminated at Bahrain National Stadium, where additional festivities awaited to honor the team’s achievement. Fans vividly remember Bahrain’s thrilling victory over Oman in the final match in Kuwait, with Oman initially taking the lead before Bahrain staged a spirited comeback. Mohammed Marhoon equalized with a penalty in the 79th minute, and clinched the victory with a shot that deflected off an Omani defender into the net. The celebration is not just for the players but for the entire nation, as Bahrain unites in joy and pride, celebrating the team’s remarkable triumph and the glory they brought to the Kingdom.
