Motorcycle riders in Bahrain are coming together for a special memorial ride to honor Ronald De Guzman Fernandes, the leader of the Pinoy Riders Group Bahrain (PRGB), who tragically passed away in an accident. The PRGB team had originally planned to meet at Tubli petrol station last Friday for a ride at 5 am. Unfortunately, the ride turned deadly when they encountered an oil-laden road strip in Mina Salman, causing multiple crashes and resulting in Ronald’s death.

Bahrain is home to around 2,000 riders, with various motorcycling clubs in the country. In light of Ronald’s tragic accident, these clubs have decided to unite under the initiative of PRGB to ride the same route that Ronald and his team took on that fateful day. The riders will gather at Tubli service station at 4.30 am and plan to ride through Adhari Road, Hamad Town, and Formula fuel station, with the ride concluding by 5.15 am. This memorial ride is a way for the motorcycle community to come together and pay their respects to Ronald, who was well-known and respected among riders in the Kingdom.

The majority of group rides in Bahrain are usually scheduled for early Friday mornings to capitalize on lighter traffic. However, the PRGB team’s ride last Friday took a tragic turn due to the hazardous conditions on the road. As a result, the motorcycle community is coming together in solidarity to remember Ronald and honor his memory through this special memorial ride. Ronald’s passing has deeply impacted the local motorcycle community, highlighting the risks that riders face on the roads and the importance of safety measures and precautions.

The memorial ride serves as a tribute to Ronald’s passion for motorcycling and his contributions to the motorcycle community in Bahrain. It also serves as a reminder of the dangers that riders face every time they hit the road and the importance of promoting safe riding practices. By coming together for this ride, riders are not only honoring Ronald’s legacy but also emphasizing the need for unity and support within the motorcycle community. This event symbolizes the camaraderie and solidarity among riders in Bahrain, showcasing their respect for one of their own who tragically lost his life doing what he loved.

The memorial ride is a way for the motorcycle community in Bahrain to mourn the loss of Ronald and show their support for his family and friends during this difficult time. It is a poignant reminder of the risks associated with riding and the importance of staying safe on the roads. By participating in this event, riders are not only paying tribute to Ronald’s memory but also raising awareness about road safety and the need for caution while riding. The unity and solidarity displayed by the riders in coming together for this memorial ride highlight the strong bonds and sense of kinship that exists within the motorcycle community in Bahrain.

In conclusion, the memorial ride for Ronald De Guzman Fernandes is a somber yet poignant event that brings together motorcycle riders from across Bahrain to pay their respects to a fellow rider who tragically lost his life. Through this memorial ride, the motorcycle community in Bahrain is honoring Ronald’s memory, promoting road safety awareness, and showcasing their unity and support for one another.
