Arab Parliament Committee Urges Implementation of Manama Resolution Targeting Israeli Extremist Groups

The Palestine Committee of the Arab Parliament recently made important declarations during a meeting in Cairo. The committee urged the expedited implementation of a decision to designate extremist Israeli organizations and groups on Arab national terrorist lists. This decision was made during the 33rd Arab Summit in Manama. The committee emphasized the need for enhanced coordination among member states to enforce this resolution and firmly rejected any efforts to forcibly displace Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

Furthermore, the committee stressed the importance of facilitating the return of displaced Gaza residents to their homes. They also condemned the ongoing atrocities committed by occupying forces in Gaza. The meeting was chaired by Adel Al Asoomi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament and member of the Shura Council. Muhannad Al Aklouk, the representative of the State of Palestine to the League of Arab States, also participated in the meeting, which was held at the Arab Parliament’s General Secretariat headquarters in Cairo.
