Annai Tamil Mandram, a well-known organization in Bahrain, celebrated the 78th Indian Independence Day by organizing an event for over 100 workers at Al Rasheed Construction Company’s hostel in Hamad Town. The event, attended by notable guests including Mr. Selvaraj K.G., Mr. Raja, and Mr. Das, featured traditional ceremonies and speeches emphasizing the importance of workplace safety. The workers were also treated to food and fruits as a token of appreciation. The event concluded with the Indian National Anthem and a heartfelt vote of thanks from Mr. Suresh, leaving everyone with a sense of unity and pride.

The ceremony began with the traditional Tamil Thai Vazhthu and a welcome speech from Dr. Thamaraikannan, General Secretary of Annai Tamil Mandram. The special guest, Mr. Vijayraj Maran, highlighted the significance of workplace safety in his address, shedding light on the importance of ensuring the well-being of workers. This emphasis on safety reflects Annai Tamil Mandram’s commitment to the welfare of the community and its dedication to promoting a safe working environment for all.

As a gesture of gratitude towards the special guests, Mr. Senthil G. and Mr. Arun Ramalingam presented them with mementos of appreciation. The distribution of food and fruits to the workers further demonstrated the organization’s efforts to ensure that everyone felt valued and cared for during the event.
