Bahrain’s Victory in the 26th Arabian Gulf Cup Receives Congratulations from Arab Leaders and Local Officials
Bahrain recently emerged victorious in the 26th Arabian Gulf Cup, which took place from December 21, 2024, to January 4, 2025, in Kuwait. The Bahrain team secured a 2-1 win against Oman in the final match held at the Jaber Al Ahmad International Stadium. Following this momentous achievement, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received an array of congratulatory messages from Arab leaders and local officials.
Among those who extended their congratulations to Bahrain’s leadership were King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, the Sultan of Oman, and the Amir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
In addition to the warm wishes received from Arab leaders, His Majesty King Hamad also received a cable of congratulations from His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Thani, Deputy Amir of Qatar, and His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs. Furthermore, telephone calls expressing congratulations were made by His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia, and Prince Fahd bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Tabuk Region.
The Arab leaders praised the exceptional performance displayed by the Bahrain national football team during the Arabian Gulf Cup and commended the spirit of sportsmanship exhibited by all participating teams.
