Khasab in the Musandam Governorate celebrated the laying of the foundation stone of a project to develop the historical Telegraph Island. The project, an environmental tourism facility, is being set up by Musandam Governor’s Office in collaboration with Musandam Municipality, OQ Company, and the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism. The ceremony was held under the patronage of Sayyid Ibrahim Said Al Busaidi, Governor of Musandam.
The project will include the construction of a multipurpose hall, a public service building, a sea landing platform, and a mountain walkway leading to all parts of the island.
