Fuel prices in the UAE slashed for June: Find out the cost of filling up your tank – News

The UAE has announced the retail fuel prices for June 2024, with a reduction of 20 fils per litre compared to May. The new prices for Super 98 petrol, Special 95 petrol, and E-plus 91 petrol are Dh3.14, Dh3.02, and Dh2.95 per litre, respectively. This decrease will result in savings of between Dh10.20 and Dh14.80 for a full tank depending on the type of vehicle.

For compact cars with an average fuel tank capacity of 51 litres, the cost of filling up with Super 98 petrol, Special 95 petrol, and E-plus 91 petrol will be Dh160.14, Dh154.02, and Dh150.45, respectively. Sedans with an average tank capacity of 62 litres will pay Dh194.68, Dh187.24, and Dh182.90 for the same fuel types. SUVs with an average tank capacity of 74 litres can expect to pay Dh232.36, Dh223.48, and Dh218.30 for a full tank of Super 98 petrol, Special 95 petrol, and E-plus 91 petrol.

The Fuel Prices Monitoring Committee determines the approved fuel prices each month based on the global price of oil, taking into account the operating costs of distribution companies.
