Flydubai has recently announced the launch of flights to Islamabad and Lahore in Pakistan, starting from July 1, 2024. The flights will operate from Terminal 2 at Dubai International Airport, serving the 1.7 million Pakistani nationals living and working in the UAE. This move comes as Pakistan has been an important market for flydubai since 2010, with sustained demand for travel to the region. With the daily services to Islamabad and Lahore, flydubai aims to offer passengers more opportunities to explore Dubai, the GCC region, and beyond on their network.

Since 2010, flydubai has been operating flights to Pakistan, starting with the launch of flights to Karachi. In addition to Islamabad and Lahore, the carrier also serves flights to Faisalabad, Karachi, Multan, Quetta, and Sialkot. Sudhir Sreedharan, the senior vice president of commercial operations at flydubai, mentioned that the new daily services to Islamabad and Lahore will provide customers from the UAE and Pakistan with more convenient and reliable travel options. The airline will be operating these flights with their fleet of Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, ensuring an enhanced travel experience for passengers.

Return fares for Business Class from Dubai to Islamabad start from Dh5,500, while Economy Class fares start from Dh1,300. On the other hand, return Business Class fares from Islamabad to Dubai start from Rs400,000, with Economy Class fares starting from Rs120,000. Similarly, return fares for Business Class from Dubai to Lahore start from Dh5,500, while Economy Class fares start from Dh1,200. Return Business Class fares from Lahore to Dubai start from Rs400,000, with Economy Class fares starting from Rs120,000. These competitive fares aim to make travel between the two countries more accessible and affordable for passengers.

With this new route expansion, flydubai aims to strengthen its presence in the Pakistani market and cater to the increasing demand for travel between the UAE and Pakistan. The daily flights to Islamabad and Lahore will not only provide more travel options for passengers but also contribute to the economic and cultural exchange between the two countries. This move aligns with flydubai’s commitment to providing quality service and connectivity to its customers, further solidifying its position as a leading low-cost carrier in the region.

Passengers flying with flydubai can expect a comfortable and seamless travel experience with their modern fleet of aircraft and onboard services. The airline’s focus on customer satisfaction and convenience is evident in the introduction of the new daily services to Islamabad and Lahore, offering passengers more flexibility and choice in their travel plans. As travel restrictions continue to ease and demand for travel increases, flydubai’s expansion into the Pakistani market comes at an opportune time, benefiting both leisure and business travelers looking for affordable and reliable flights between the UAE and Pakistan.

Overall, flydubai’s announcement of new flights to Islamabad and Lahore signals a positive step towards strengthening air connectivity between the UAE and Pakistan. With competitive fares, convenient flight schedules, and a focus on customer satisfaction, flydubai is well-positioned to capture a significant share of the growing travel market between the two countries. Passengers can look forward to a hassle-free travel experience and more opportunities to explore the diverse attractions of Dubai and beyond on flydubai’s extensive network.
