The FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025 is gaining momentum with the release of its official soundtrack, comprised of two new songs, “Zamani” and “Makani.” Produced by Doha-based Katara Studios, the music aims to capture the spirit of regional unity and the passion surrounding the tournament, scheduled to take place December 1-18. The release marks a key milestone in the preparations for the competition that showcases football talent across the Arab world.

The Local Organising Committee announced the launch of the songs, which are now available on the RoadtoQatar YouTube channel. Sixteen teams will compete for the prestigious trophy, with matches hosted in several of Qatar’s iconic stadiums. Tickets are currently on sale, with prices starting at QAR 25.

Celebrating Arab Football: The FIFA Arab Cup 2025 Soundtrack

The two-song soundtrack serves as a cultural centerpiece for the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025, building on the success of Qatar’s previous major tournament hosting. The songs emphasize themes of ambition, belonging, and the collective joy associated with the sport.

“Zamani,” meaning “My Time” in Arabic, features Qatari artist Hamad Al Khazina. The lyrics, written by Mohammad Al Khajah, are designed to inspire and reflect the rising prominence of football within the region. The song’s message centers around achieving goals and seizing opportunities.

The second anthem, “Makani,” translating to “My Place,” showcases the talents of Egyptian artist Mohamed Mounir. Lyrics by Mostafa Hadouta explore the concept of home and the shared Arab identity that unites fans across national boundaries. This resonates with the tournament’s goal of fostering greater regional connection through sport.

RedOne’s Continued Collaboration with Qatar

Both tracks benefit from the musical expertise of award-winning producer Nadir Khayat, known professionally as RedOne. He previously collaborated on the official soundtrack for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, crafting globally recognized hits like “Arhbo” and “Dreamers”. His involvement continues Qatar’s pattern of leveraging internationally renowned artists for its major sporting events.

RedOne’s signature sound, blending pop and contemporary influences, aims to attract a broad audience, particularly among younger fans. According to organizers, his appointment highlights a commitment to delivering a high-quality musical experience alongside the football action. His work on previous soundtracks indicates a successful model for connecting with fans on an emotional level through music.

Tournament Details and Fan Accommodations

The FIFA Arab Cup is a significant event for the Arab region, promoting football development and providing a platform for showcasing talent. It also functions as a valuable dress rehearsal for future major tournaments that Qatar may host. Matches will be played at Al Bayt Stadium, Lusail Stadium, Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium, Education City Stadium, and Stadium 974.

The opening match will be held on December 1st at Al Bayt Stadium, featuring Qatar against the winner of the preliminary match between Palestine and Libya. The final will take place on December 18th at Lusail Stadium, the same venue that hosted the 2022 FIFA World Cup Final.

Organizers are prioritizing fan experience, offering digital tickets and accessible seating options. Fans needing accessible seating can request accommodations via email at [emailprotected]. Additionally, “Follow My Team” ticket packages are available, providing access to all group stage matches for a selected team, catering to dedicated supporters.

Beyond the matches, the tournament will feature a range of entertainment and cultural activities, aiming to create a festive atmosphere for attendees. This follows the successful model of cultural programming established during the 2022 World Cup, demonstrating Qatar’s commitment to offering a comprehensive event experience. Further details on these events are expected to be released closer to the tournament.

Looking ahead, the focus will shift to the on-field performances as teams finalize their preparations. The success of ticket sales and the overall fan engagement remain key metrics to watch in the coming weeks. Any potential challenges related to logistics and security arrangements will also be closely monitored as the tournament approaches.
