Looking for electrifying adventures to beat the summer heat? From flyboarding to scuba diving, Dubai has a range of heart-pumping activities to enjoy during the summer months. Flyboarding is an exhilarating experience that makes you feel like you’re flying over water. By standing on a flyboard attached to a personal watercraft that propels you upwards with high-pressure water jets, you can soar up to nine meters above the water for a thrilling view. If you’re a true adventure enthusiast, try the Seabreacher, a watercraft shaped like a shark that can reach speeds of up to 100kmph and leap up to six meters above the water’s surface.

For a more controlled adrenaline rush, kitesurfing at Kite Beach is a popular choice. Kitesurfers hold onto a kite handle attached to a parachute-like kite to control their speed and direction. Parasailing is another exciting activity where you are lifted into the air by a parasail attached to a boat, providing breathtaking views of Dubai from up to 150 meters above the water. Scuba diving in Dubai’s warm waters offers incredible underwater adventures for all experience levels, with the Atlantis Dive Centre at Atlantis, The Palm providing various certification courses and marine activities in the Ambassador Lagoon.

To combine sightseeing with adventure, consider a boat tour with Hero Boat Tours, where you can self-operate easy-to-use boats and explore Dubai’s iconic landmarks from the water. For a peaceful getaway from the city, kayaking at Hatta Dam is a great option, just an hour and a half from Dubai. Surrounded by the Hajar Mountains, Hatta Dam offers a serene setting for kayaking, canoeing, and paddle boating, allowing you to take in the stunning natural beauty of the area. So, whether you’re seeking high-speed thrills or tranquil water experiences, Dubai has something for every adventure seeker this summer.
