Paul Murnaghan, originally from Ireland, has been in Dubai for 16 years and has always had a passion for golf. As a scratch golfer, Murnaghan has participated in various local Emirates Golf Federation Amateur Opens and has been a member of different golf clubs in the UAE. Golflinx, which currently operates on a non-profit basis, has the potential to become a commercial venture in the future with exciting partnerships being made both locally and internationally. The platform is expanding to other countries like Saudi Arabia, UK, USA, Portugal, Australia, and Spain, providing opportunities for individuals and companies to grow their network globally.
Golflinx organizes events with two sponsors showcasing their companies, attracting a diverse group of active and inactive golfers, as well as around 500 companies. Each golf day has between 60 to 120 players, with around two events per month on the main calendar. In addition to the main events, Golflinx also runs midweek corporate days, matchplay golf, golf series, Order of Merits, and plays with other Golf Societies in Ras Al Khaimah and Abu Dhabi. With a focus on creating a community of golf enthusiasts and business professionals, Golflinx offers a unique platform for members to connect, play golf, and expand their network in the UAE and beyond.
