The Emirates Dubai Sail Grand Prix is gearing up for an exciting start to the 2024-2025 SailGP season. Taking place from November 23-24, this event will feature all 11 national teams, including the debut of the Brazilian crew. The new season will also include events in Brazil, Germany, Switzerland, and Auckland, promising a thrilling season of high-speed, foiling F50 catamaran races. This season opener is made possible with the support of the Dubai Sports Council and the Department of Economy and Tourism, showcasing SailGP’s commitment to sustainability and purpose-driven sports entertainment.

Dubai is known for hosting some of the most adrenaline-filled moments in SailGP’s history, and the 2024 Emirates Dubai Sail Grand Prix is expected to continue that legacy. With the iconic Burj Khalifa skyline as the backdrop, fans can expect an unforgettable spectacle as the high-tech F50 catamarans race through Dubai’s waters. With all 11 national teams competing, including the debut of the Mubadala Brazil SailGP Team led by Olympic gold medalist Martine Grael, this season promises to be action-packed and historic.

SailGP is making history with the inclusion of the Mubadala Brazil SailGP Team, notably with Grael as the first female driver in SailGP. The commitment to diversity and inclusivity in the sport is evident as SailGP continues to push boundaries and engage fans worldwide. The SailGP season opener in Dubai will set the tone for an exhilarating season, with Sir Ben Ainslie, the CEO of Emirates GBR, expressing excitement for the event’s return to Dubai due to its partnership with Emirates and the fantastic racing experience it offers fans.

For the first time, a four-week training camp will precede the season opener, giving all teams ample time to prepare for the races in Dubai’s waters. Fans can look forward to a unique and immersive experience, with ticket options that combine stadium-style viewing with Dubai’s luxury hospitality. Tickets for the Emirates Dubai Sail Grand Prix are now available at SailGP.com/Dubai, and with the event promising high-speed racing, cutting-edge technology, and iconic locations, fans are urged to secure their tickets early to avoid missing out on the action. The season opener in Dubai is set to captivate audiences with its blend of sport and extravagance, making it a must-see event for sailing enthusiasts and spectators alike.
