Ferrari World Yas Island in Abu Dhabi recently unveiled the world’s first Ferrari-themed Esports Arena, setting a new standard in the entertainment industry. The arena features 20 Gran Turismo simulators, including specialized F1 simulators, catering to both adult and younger guests. The facility promises an immersive racing experience, allowing participants to feel like they are behind the wheel of a Ferrari race car on iconic F1 Grand Prix circuits like the Yas Marina Circuit.
Faisal Al Nuaimi, the General Manager of Ferrari World Yas Island, highlighted the unique and exclusive nature of the Ferrari-themed Esports Arena. The design of the arena mirrors the iconic Ferrari brand with a sleek black and red aesthetic, offering top-tier gaming stations with high-performance equipment for a seamless gaming experience. The inspiration for the arena came from working closely with the Ferrari team to identify opportunities in the global gaming market.
Inclusivity is a core value at Ferrari World, with two Gran Turismo simulators specially designed for people of determination at the Esports Arena. This addition reflects the park’s commitment to creating accessible and enjoyable experiences for all visitors, aligning with the UAE government’s initiative for inclusivity in all sectors of the tourism and hospitality industry. The Esports Arena is open daily from 10am to 6pm, with entry to the Gran Turismo simulators included in the theme park ticket until the end of the year.
The introduction of the Ferrari-themed Esports Arena contributes to the growth of the gaming and Esports scene in the UAE, positioning the country, and especially the capital city, as a premier destination for gaming enthusiasts. Al Nuaimi emphasized that this initiative is part of the UAE government’s broader plans for the gaming sector, with more developments on the horizon. While the Ferrari World Esports Arena offers a unique experience for visitors, there is a promise of additional experiences to come in the future, keeping guests engaged and excited for what’s next in the gaming landscape.
